Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's bout.
Former two-time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a mammoth disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. My goal is to show I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to really want to hurt him. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - typically famous for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul rather criticized former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "ridiculous" after Ngannou turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's greatest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and claimed he would prevent the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As Joshua and Paul met for the usual confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how unlikely this complete situation is - and how amazing it is that the match is truly happening.
